From the shelf to the bar, the Greek yogurt brand, Chobani creates New York’s first yogurt bar experience along Prince Street in SOHO.   The brand first hit the shelves of local grocery stores in 2007,  and has now opened up shop providing an authentic, artisanal yogurt eating experience with a range tasteful, all-natural combinations,  such as: Pistachio + Chocolate, Blueberry + Power, Toasted Coconut + Pineapple, Fig + Walnut and Plain Chobani + Olive Oil, to name a few.

 

 

Chobani SOHO welcomes its customers with an island-style bar, allowing customers to stand around the space  for an open view of the kitchen where the yogurt combination is created.

The bar also houses the various ingredients used in the creations, from the extra virgin olive oil, clover honey to Turkish hazelnut; all available for purchase for those who’d like to bring the experience back home.

 

 

As a brand that solely lived on the shelves of grocery stores, like many other yogurt brands, this breakout into  a retail experience of its own speaks to Chobani’s belief in offering people with great options.

This expansion serves Chobani well, taking the brand beyond a commercial product and entering into the service industry.
