Pop-Up Branding
Timberland
Brands continue to make the effort in integrating environmental standards into their products,
and most often than not, these initiatives go unnoticed or have been saturated across
the consumer market. To make this effort a little more engaging, Timberland has put forth
a pop-up kiosk near Madison Square Park to promote its eco-minded gear.
As you can see, the entire side of this kiosk is filled with empty plastic bottles, touting the brand’s
effort in using natural and recycled material in their products. With that said, they coin these
products ‘Earthkeepers,’ trotters of green rubber soles. By drawing people into the kiosk with
a bank of information and insight, the brand creates a hub for knowledge and the
sharing of knowledge. This is a great way to call out the green effort and allow consumers to
learn more about the initiative outside the retail environment.
